Search All Library Resources

Distance Learning

All UP Students who live more than 50 miles from Great Falls are eligible for Distance Learning services.

Library Materials

The Library will ship library books and other returnables to your home.  Library staff will also copy and email articles available from the library's print library collection.  Use Interlibrary Loan to request materials that are not available from the library's print and electronic collections.

Off Campus Access

Off campus access to most of the library's electronic subscription resources is limited to faculty, staff and current students.

  • Click on the database link
  • Select the database that you want to search or and search everything in the library catalog.
  • Input your University of Providence ID number (including @ symbol) in the first box of the login page.
  • Leave the password box blank.

ILL Book Request

Fill out the Interlibrary Loan Book Request form to order a book that isn't available at the Providence Library.   Your book will usually arrive within 5-10 days.  The checkout period is determined by the lending library and is usually 3-4 weeks.   Out of state students should contact their local library to borrow books and other returnable materials.
